Christina’s Art Bio
Christina Petrilli is an elementary school art teacher in Piscataway. She works with grades 4 & 5 in drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her part-time work is at Washington Rock Dance studio in Warren, teaching early childhood ages pre-ballet and creative movement. In the summertime, Christina works at the Montclair Art Museum’s SummerArt camps. Christina’s background is in graphic design, art history, and dance. When she is not working, Christina practices yoga, loves to cook, and is currently training to become a yoga instructor. Christina has been a Bridgewater resident for the past 4 years and is excited to be a new committee member of the Bridgewater Creative Arts Committee.
Stephanie Moench is a lifelong resident of Bridgewater, and has been apart of the BCAC for 9 years, and Chair for 3. She is a proud mother of two toddlers and a part time instructor at Pinots Palette, Somerville, as well as a muralist, stephaniemoenchmurals. Before this, Stephanie was an art educator at William Annin Middle school in Bernards Township. She received her Bachelors in Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology, in NYC and Florence, Italy, and later persued her Masters in Art Education from Kean University, here in NJ. Some of her hobbies include, painting, weaving, pottery, singing, printmaking, and sewing. She also is inbvolved in numerous community organizations, including the Bridgewater Women’s Ensemble, Blessed Sacrament choir, and the Center for Contemporary Arts: Hooray for May family day committee. As chair of the BCAC, her goal is to lead her group to create awareness of the talented artist, musicians, dancers actors and crafters in our town.
Kristen Rath is a graduate of Marist College where she earned her BA in Communications. She worked in television production and advertising for 12 years, developing everything from television commercials and print ads to websites, while rising from the ranks of Production Coordinator to VP, Creative Director for a reputable NY ad agency. After taking a brief hiatus to have her two children she decided to pursue her passion for photography and start her own business. She moved to Martinsville and launched Drum Hill Studios in 2012. Drum Hill Studios is a boutique style custom photography studio specializing in maternity, newborn and family portraiture.
Pat has jumped with both feet back into the fun and challenge of the art world after a 20-year business career. Her education background is in fine art, art history and American Studies and currently works as a potter, printer and papermaker. She has lived in Bridgewater with her husband for the past 35 years and “absolutely loves living in Bridgewater because of its proximity to so much art and culture.” Pat’s favorite role within BCAC is to curate the visual art exhibitions held in The Halls Galleries of the Bridgewater Township Municipal Building.
