BCAC had a wonderful time working a free arts and crafts tent yesterday in Downtown Somerville For the second annual Flag Day Festival. We also made cards to thank the service men at the festival, veterans, as well as military over seas.
Operation NJ Cares will take care to do the mailing, with their packages of need and donated goods they send overseas. Our artwork and thank you cards will be the first thing soldiers see when they open the anticipated care package!
We thank those of you who came and crafted with us, and those who missed the festivities…please check us out next year. And to all, Happy Flag Day! Enjoy the beautiful weather and fly your flags outside your homes proud!

Come celebrate Flag Day with the BCAC at the second Annual Flag Day festival in Downtown Somerville this Saturday, June 13th. Come find our tent and make some free crafts for the kids! Festivities begin at 11:30 and end at 4.
We have some fun crafts planned for the kiddos. Finger painted flags, patriotic windmills, cards for soldiers overseas, and more! The event will have live music, food, bounce houses, military and rescue vehicles to explore, reinactments, and some good old flag fun. Hope to see you there!
